2020年７月１日(水曜日)より、MaruCafe及びMaruCafe商店にてアーティストのささきりょうたさんの絵画展『do your work』を開催します。

今回のタイトルである『do your work』は、

僕がりょうたさんに聞いた

「描いている最中に、
壁にぶつかった時はどうするの？」

という質問から生まれました。

その答えは「それでも描くこと」でした。

今、この時、

たとえどんな状況が起ころうとも、

just『do your work』

みんなそれぞれが、

ただひたすら、

自分のできる仕事をしていくこと。

そんな姿勢が大切なんじゃないかと思い、

今回のタイトルとさせていただきました。

展示品は、全てご購入いただけます。

＊サイズは90 mm x 200 mmという小さなものですが、存在感があって一枚一枚に引き込まれ、見入ってしまいます。

We will be showcasing artwork by artist Ryota Sasaki at both Maru Cafe and Maru Cafe Shooten

the phrase “do your work” was brought up when I asked Ryota what he does when he has writer’s block and he mentioned that he just keeps on writing.

In the times of sudden change and the era of sudden crisis it is important to “just do your work” in　spite of any sudden changes or crisis.

From a 90mm x 200mm paper, you can veer into the limitless and boundless
world of Ryota Sasaki、a playful world filled with warmth & compassion and vivid energy.

An excursion away, a liberation from the chaotic world that we live in.
